"While the Starts & Lights are yours..."

In my teenage school years, three of my friends were in a band - No really they were! What started out with no instruments, using stools for drums, playing air guitars and called the Padlocks, soon developed into the Mod style band, The Inclyned.

Although they never made it big, they were legends in their own lunchtimes and well liked locally. They played loads of gigs, including school discos, youth club discos and of course the Battle of the Bands in Worksop. They were robbed of course and came a close second. The ugly smell of corruption within Bassetlaw District Council, who'd organised the event, hung heavy in the air that night.

They also produced a demo tape in 1986 entitled, "as scene with the rhythm" of which I've still got a copy.
